Fire Forces Evacuation at Holiday Inn at Six Flags

EUREKA, Mo (KMOX) – Fire forced the evacuation of the Holiday Inn at Six Flags around 2:00 p.m. on Friday.

Scott Barthelmass with the Eureka Fire Department tells KMOX the call came in as a kitchen fire, but crews found out it started in a compressor room and quickly spread to other parts of the building.

A second alarm was activated to get Eureka firefighters some help in attacking the flames.

There is no further information at this time.
