ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Vandalism at a south St. Louis Schnucks caught the attention of customers over Labor Day weekend.
A viewer sent us a picture of spray paint on the side of the Schnucks building at South Grand Boulevard and Gravois Avenue. The graffiti reads “RATS…Happy Labor Day.”
The message comes after the regional grocery store chain cut 190 union jobs at its new distribution center. Schnucks is also under fire from customers for banning all solicitors from their doorstep, including the Girl Scouts and the Salvation Army.
There is no information on who wrote the message or the reason behind it.
