Conviction Made in Ambush Murder Case

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A conviction has been made in a murder case from 2 years ago.

Twenty-nine-year-old Terrell Perkins has been convicted of first-degree murder and 11 other charges for the slaying of his ex-girlfriend, Jolice Trice.

In July of 2014, Perkins along with several other people went to Trice’s north St. Louis home, enticed her and some friends to step outside and then shot them. Trice died and the other women were hurt.

Police say Trice had broken off the relationship and the dispute began earlier in the day of the shooting.

Perkins’ brother and mother, who are involved in the are still facing trial in the case.
