ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – He’s interviewed everyone from B-list celebrities to President Obama, but now comedian Zach Galifanakis is taking on Hillary Clinton.
The Democratic presidential nominee appeared this week on Galifanakis’ “Between Two Ferns,” a comedic internet segment where Galifanakis awkwardly “interviews” guests.
Clinton’s been doing more to reach out to the younger demographic with appearances on various programs. The scripted interview features Galifanakis wondering whether Clinton will lead the Civil War if Donald Trump is elected. He also asks “As Secretary, how many words per minute could you type? And how does President Obama like his coffee? Like himself – weak?”
Clinton, at times, didn’t seem thrilled, but Democratic strategist and KMOX host Michael Kelley says it’s all in fun.
“She has a sense of humor. And what’s amazing is, it’s even a story when we have a circus clown running on the other side,” Kelley says, referring to Republican nominee Donald Trump.
Kelley adds people shouldn’t get upset about the lack of hard hitting questions.
“Those people have been offended by politics since the invention of television,” he says, adding the interview was done in good fun.
