Rauner Speaks on Trump in Sexual Harassment Allegations

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (KMOX) – Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner is still maintaining his distance from Donald Trump.

Rauner has said throughout this election cycle he won’t endorse in the presidential race, but he has recently come out against Trump’s remarks about grabbing women.

“I am appalled, I am disgusted by the statements that have came out recently in the presidential election,” Rauner says. “I have been outraged by the rhetoric for quite a while.”

He adds that he condemns any form of sexual assault of sexual harassment.

But Rauner, who’s been asked about Donald Trump several times this week, still won’t say whether he intends to vote for him next month.
