St. Louis County Executive Steve Stenger says it’s “reprehensible conduct” and there’s no room for it here.

There were no evacuations ordered at the center at Schuetz and Lindbergh, but police dogs were seen sniffing around the area.

The local JCC released the following statement regarding the incident:

“The St. Louis J, along with three other JCCs in different states, received a bomb threat via email today. Through consultation with law enforcement, after weighing the risks of evacuating and not evacuating, we decided to conduct perimeter and building inspections (with canine units) while remaining open. We received the all-clear about 90 minutes later.”
