Schnucks Settles Union Dispute

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – You won’t see the Teamsters picketing outside area Schnucks stores anymore.

The two sides have come to agreement on a five-year contract, ratified by a vote of 79-to-16.

The Teamsters were unhappy with Schnucks’ plans to outsource staffing of a new grocery warehouse, thereby cutting the union out.

This new deal gives a buy-out settlement to all the workers affected.
