Brentwood to Spend Prop P Funds on Law Enforcement

BRENTWOOD, MO. (KMOX) – Things are good in Brentwood. Brentwood mayor Christopher Thornton says the city has a mostly balanced budget. Their biggest budget questions are how to pay for pedestrian and trail improvements around Manchester road.

Mayor Thornton says, yes, Brentwood intends to spend all of its Prop P proceeds on law enforcement.

“It’s most likely equipment and training, I know body cams is something that’s come up,” he says.
