ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A St. Louis judge could rule as soon as Friday on the verdict in the trial of a former police officer accused of murder in the line of duty. Mayor Lyda Krewson was asked if the police are ready.

“The police have those plans in place everyday, and that’s something that of course they’re looking at and we’ll see, when the decision comes down, the police will be prepared,” she says.

Judge Timothy Wilson has said no decision will be made before Friday the 18th of August.
