Mizzou Opens Campus to Harvey Victims

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMOX) – With some 800 students potentially impacted by Hurricane Harvey, the University of Missouri – Columbia is offering their families refuge.

In a letter to parents, the university says it will offer temporary housing in Columbia to students’ families displaced by the hurricane.

The school is also offering counseling to students, and flexibility with class schedules if needed.
