ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – It was the police over the firefighters at Wednesday night’s “Guns N Hoses” boxing and MMA event at Scottrade Center.
The final count was 10-6.
But, the big winner was the Backstoppers organization, the charity that supports families of fallen first-responders.
The amount raised won’t be announced for some time, but we do know the event was a sell-out. Announced attendance was a record for the event – 18,199.
The wife of fallen St. Louis fire captain John Kemper rang the ten-count to begin this year’s card.
