Alicia Herald is the founder and CEO of myEDmatch, a job matching site for educators.

myEDmatch is a Missouri-based startup working to transform classrooms, careers, and communities by helping educators and schools find each other.

The online platform allows both teachers and schools to create profiles and search for one another, while the proprietary matching algorithm indicates the extent to which a match is a mission and culture fit.

Alicia started her career as an elementary school teacher in south central Los Angeles, and most recently started and ran the Teach For America – Kansas City region as its founding executive director.

She also sits on the KIPP Endeavor Academy school board as vice president, and is a member of the Hall Family Foundation’s Scholarship Committee.
