The New Orleans Saints played a much better game on defense as they faced off with the Seattle Seahawks this time, but there were plenty of other problems. It was a hard-fought effort and a really good season, but the road woes have got to stop.
Drew Brees will be much more successful against the Eagles defense than back-up Kyle Orton was in the final game of the regular season. But, if the Eagles can knock Brees off his game, then the Saints could quickly run out of options to try and keep up wit the Eagles offense.
Since its bye week three weeks ago, St. Louis has played Chicago, San Francisco, and Arizona — all teams with a legitimate shot at making the playoffs — and will next face New Orleans, which currently has the second-best record in the conference.
