A St. Louis police officer’s vivid account of the tragic incident has been making its rounds on social media.
A former St. Louis city officer is accused of giving a 12-inch shotgun to a man storing crack cocaine and marijuana at a house in the 3800 block of Cottage Avenue.
“The officer discharged his pistol three times at the driver in fear of his life as well as the life of the juvenile female in the rear seat,” says a release from the department.
The officer-involved shooting happened before 4 p.m. Tuesday in the 4100 block of Minnesota in South St. Louis.
