Public Service Commission
A panel of Missouri utility regulators has denied one company’s request to construct a high-voltage power line in Missouri for a multistate wind energy project.
The Public Service Commission says the surcharge will cost natural gas customers 75 cents per month.
At a public meeting in Creve Coeur Monday night, Laclede spokesman Rick Zucker told the few people who showed up that their bill wouldn’t be any higher next month than it is right now.
Power companies could ask to levy the surcharge between their formal rate cases before the Public Service Commission.
The rule applies to natural gas companies and electric utilities regulated by the Public Service Commission.
