Rams right tackle has battled injuries all season and hasn’t played since Week 2, but he was able to do some limited work on Thursday, with an eye on possibly returning to game action next Sunday, when St. Louis plays the Carolina Panthers.
Dunbar was second on the team in tackles last season, but was let go before the 2013 season opener after being hit with a four-game suspension by the NFL for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy.
The St. Louis Rams hope their run game will improve with projected starter Daryl Richardson back in the mix.
In total, seven players who couldn’t go on Wednesday, were back on the practice field Thursday, along with new acquisition OT Max Starks.
Team only lists four players on injury report; all backups. While Arizona has four starters that will likely play, despite being limited in practice on Thursday.
Saffold was right tackle for a few weeks during rookie workouts in 2010 before displacing Jason Smith.
Neither the Rams nor the Jets are dealing with any key injuries heading into Sunday’s game.
