Missouri, Illinois Announce Details For New Bridge Public Debut

Illinois and Missouri have announced new details for the public debut of the Stan Musial Veterans Memorial Bridge on Saturday, February 8.


Work continues on the Mississippi River Bridge that will connect Illinois and Missouri, from Brooklyn, Illinois on July 15, 2013. The bridge will be named the Stan Musial Veterans Bridge and has created 3,400 jobs. The bridge should be open by March 2014.    UPI/Bill Greenblatt
