25-year-old Tye Kaufman, the man who shot himself after robbing a Florissant bank yesterday, has died.
Police say the suspect entered the U.S. Bank inside the Schnucks on East 5th Street around 4:20 p.m.
Fifty-year-old Arnell Edwards of St. Louis pleaded guilty Wednesday in U.S. District Court in East St. Louis to one count of bank robbery.
According to authorities the man in his late twenties to mid-thirties walked up to the bank teller and gave her a note.
