The Born This Way Ball has been “the top-grossing tour by any female artist” of 2012 and Lady Gaga is going strong into 2013 as well. This show has been playing to sell-out crowds in Europe and Asia, and Gaga’s fans can’t wait for tickets to go on sale for her St. Louis show. Billed as an electro-metal pop opera, The Born This Way Ball is meant to celebrate birth and life in Lady Gaga’s “Kingdom of Fame.” This is her first tour since the release of the blockbuster “Born This Way” album in 2011.

Details are still emerging, but Taylor Swift is coming to St. Louis in March. No official announcement has been made about the venue, but local media are reporting that the concerts will be at Scottrade Center. The young singer/songwriter hit the top of the charts with the “Red” album in early November. The lead single from the album, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” has been a runaway hit all over the world. The British singer/songwriter’s hit single “Lights” was a fixture on the US Billboard charts for over 35 weeks. Ellie is taking a brief tour, just one month across the US. Her stop in St. Louis will be at The Pageant on Delmar, the Lou’s favorite intimate music venue for indie acts. The Pageant’s Halo Bar will be open before the show and bar patrons can line up early for priority seating in the general admission theater.

The British rock band’s 2013 North American tour supports the band’s “The 2nd Law” album featuring the chart-topping single “Madness.” This is the sixth album for the band, which formed in 1994 in Devon, England. The 2013 tour will be the first time Muse has played in large venues like Chaifetz. Muse is heavily influenced by classical music and often compared to Radiohead or Nirvana.
