St. Louis has long enjoyed its status as a Midwestern stop for major music tours. The 2013 shows are still being announced, but so far it’s shaping up to be another banner year for music fans in the Lou. Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and Muse are all on the roster already, with more acts being added every week. Here are a few of the top shows that have already been booked.

The Born This Way Ball has been “the top-grossing tour by any female artist” of 2012 and Lady Gaga is going strong into 2013 as well. This show has been playing to sell-out crowds in Europe and Asia, and Gaga’s fans can’t wait for tickets to go on sale for her St. Louis show. Billed as an electro-metal pop opera, The Born This Way Ball is meant to celebrate birth and life in Lady Gaga’s “Kingdom of Fame.” This is her first tour since the release of the blockbuster “Born This Way” album in 2011.
